Brisbane
Last night
After walking around in Brisbane for a day, we decided to check out the local music scene. The place with the live music was called Rics Place and was located on a street called brunswick street. What better way, thought we, than to take a ferry, the CityCat, to this place at night, and have a short walk to the gig. So we got on the CityCat, had a great view of the city by night, got completely mangled by the wind, and got to Brunswick street. Turns out the walk is a bit furhter than we initially thought. The road started at numbers 950 and Rics Place was 321... adding to that was that it started to rain, and there were huge bats flying around. We did, eventually, find a cab and got the place in time for the show. Playing was a guy called Tim Ireland, which was ok (reminiscent of Neil Finn). The other artist .... zzzz ....
Today...
... we spent the morning at a Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, where Sophie was love attacked by a vicious koala, and we got some cute pictures of that coming up soon... the zoo also contained free roaming kangaroos, which you could pet and feed which was nice.
Btw, the weather here is amazing! No, just kidding, its raining. Tomorrow we are heading for Byron Bay in the morning by bus.

Important notice:
There was a picture taken of Eddie Vedder and presumably the same Koala that attacked Sophie hanging on the wall at the Koala Santuary. We werent allowed to take pictures so you'll just have to take our word for it.
PS:
If anyone know why there is a box for "used syringes" in every public toilet here, please let us know... it looks scary.
